Cad4All acts as a facilitator and co-ordinator of support for vulnerable individuals in our communities through our skill development programme. Our past experience with community organisations has documented that underprivileged persons need to be educated about the fundamentals which prevail in life and related activities to achieve long term priorities. Upliftment programmes like our skill development |
| which equips individuals to empower themselves and prepare them for recruitment. Cad4All has a "soft skill" programme at no charge except for the minimal administration cost available to learners who wish to enter the job market after they were trained the skill. This "soft skill" simply solidifies what already is in place cognitively in terms of additional measures needed when entering the workplace such as job search, compiling job portfolio, mastering interview. This platform leverages opportunities and social advancement for the individual in a variety of contexts in their lives. | |
| The Cad4All group have been training underprivileged youth in skills development for the last 3 years. Many of these students went on to start their own small businesses as entrepreneurs or are gainfully employed on a permanent or part-time basis for various organisations. The effect this initiative has already produced has made a life altering and priceless difference in all of the communities that it was introduced to. | ![]() |

Poverty leading to a lack of education. Parents are so poor that they are unable to afford to send their children for tertiary education and other forms of skills training. Rural towns are even worse, as there are no training centres available even if a parent could afford to send their children for skills training. The youth desperately need to be skilled and empowered to create a brighter future for all! |
| Poverty stricken communities are in dire need of assistance and are crying out for help. Life on the Cape Flats, especially for the youth, holds a dark future. Gangsterism, alcohol addiction, substance addiction, abuse in all forms and the HIV epidemic are increasing. The youth, whom are the future of our nation, are exposed to these negatives on a daily basis and thousands are already trapped in this struggling to find a way out. We have to target the source of these problems. | ![]() |

We are training students with great success and are amazed at the talent and potential that these youngsters are showing. It is astounding to witness their enthusiasm and willingness to learn and seize a once in a lifetime opportunity. We personally feel that all the disadvantaged youth in South Africa need to be offered an opportunity to rise above their |
| circumstantial situation where they can empower and obtain the self esteem needed to build our nation. | |
"Skill The Communities To Empower Themselves"
- Our placement office specialises in gaining learnerships within corporate organisations.
- Train the community based trainer (Facilitators course in all our programmes)
- Manage all the computers and training rooms at all the centres.
- Students data will be captured into our web based contact management system and this will be used to track the progress of all youth who enter the program. This gives Cad4All a clear indication of the student's progress and their whereabouts during and after the training.
- Cad4All will launch the national community support website for the youth.
- Students will not pay for training, only an assessment and administration fee will be charged.
- Our "triangle" approach below will give you a guide as to the structures which are currently in place.
1 - Assessment
Youth wanting to enter the Cad4All skills programme will have to apply direct to the local community based organisation. Standard documentation will have to be completed for entrance to the programme. The local community leaders will assess the individual and his data will be entered in to the Cad4All online contact system. From there it will be determined if the individual will be ready to enter a skills course or if he / she needs to be counselled, rehabilated for substance abuse or as in the majority of cases he / she will first have to undertake a life skills course at community centers before entering the skills training programme.
2 - Training Programme
The Cad4All facilitators are certified trainers of the software solutions on the next page. The courses are all computer based excluding course 2 below. It is time for our communities to be empowered by introducing these training solutions within the communities in order to empower our youth and to give them the best opportunity to be placed in to a learnership and to learn a skill or trade.
| 1: | Basics of Computing, Word processing, Presentations and Accounting utilising KODEWARE |
| 2: | Introduction to Draughting within the various disciplines |
| 3: | Fundamentals of computer aided design utilising BRICSCAD |
| 4: | CV |
| 5: | Job Search |
| 6: | Interview |
| 7: | Time Management |
3 - Learnership
- Learner/student is ready to be placed into a learnership
- The learner will gain experience working within a specific company
- He/she has an opportunity to gain permanent employment depending on the outcome of their learnership. Therefore it is imperative that the student is made aware of the importance of this opportunity.
- He/she has an opportunity to start his own SME and become a subcontractor for a company or an entrepreneur.
Communities will be occupied, hope will have been restored, examples will be set, skill creation and job opportunities will be more readily available and this will reciprocate in the form of PREVENTION of Gangsterism, Aids, Loitering, Substance abuse, Theft, Robberies and so much more. We pride ourselves in educating and empowering the youth in our communities to build a nation filled with promise and unending capabilities.
Youth will be actively engaging in skills development and education which will detract them from roaming the streets and away from all the external, negative pressures that impacts their lives. Cad4All strives to try and efficiently skill our youth so that they may become productive citizens of our society.
